Important recertification information Effective February 5, 2010, the SP Cable, Content Networking, Optical, and WAN Switching recertification exams have formally reach end of life. These exams no longer qualify candidates for the CCIE lab exam, or for recertification. Candidates who have taken and passed one of these exams for recertification within the past 24 months, should check their certification status using the CCIE/CCDE tracking tool.
