Data Center Unified Computing

The Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Authorized Technology Provider (DCUC ATP) Program helps Cisco partners address the growing, US$75 billion global market opportunity for unified computing solutions. The program allows partners to further expand their data center practices, including the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS). It helps identify, qualify, train, and empower a specifically-qualified group of Cisco channel partners to provide sales and support for the Cisco UCS. Learn More

Announcement: Retirement of Cisco DCUC ATP Program

Announcement Date: July 31, 2011
Retirement Date: October 31, 2011
Program End Date: October 31, 2012

Program Participation
The DCUC ATP Program is an invitation-only program. To participate, you must already possess relevant job, industry, and market credentials in ATP technology. Before engaging with potential ATP partners, a Cisco sponsor or CAM must go to the ATP Instruction Page for nomination, approval, and partner invitation instructions. To get started:

  1. Read the requirements for participation in the DCUC ATP Program.
  2. If identified as a participating partner or provider, complete the Cisco ATP application and review it with your CAM. If you meet all criteria, your CAM working with the ATP Theater Lead will submit a request for invitation to the Worldwide ATP Program contact. Note: filling out an application does not guarantee an invitation.
  3. Once invited, visit the Certification and Specialization Application (CSApp)/Invitation tool to complete the Program Requirements Checklist (PRC) online. The Word version file can be downloaded and used to track completion of program requirements.

Partner Profile
Cisco is only looking for ATP partners who possess acceptable job/industry/market credentials in ATP-focused technology, which makes this program extremely restrictive.

Restricted Products
New partners may prospect leads and develop quotes for Cisco DCUC products and solutions during the qualification period. However, they may not purchase Cisco DCUC products and begin deployments until they have successfully met the defined requirements for this ATP. Be sure to check the list of all restricted products.

The following links can help partners achieve ATP qualification, and provide access to additional training and resources.

The satellite designation allows partners to be recognized as an approved Data Center Unified Computing Authorized Technology Provider (DCUC ATP) Partner in a second country after becoming an approved DCUC ATP partner in a different country ("host") within their theater (or the European Economic Area, if applicable).
