Announcement: Retirement of Cisco IOS-XR Routing Platforms ATP Program

Last day for new partners to be invited: July 31, 2009
Retirement Date: July 31, 2010

Cisco will retire the Cisco® IOS-XR Routing Platforms ATP Program effective July 31, 2010. Cisco is taking this step to provide easier access to Cisco IOS® XR Software products.

  • Partners that wish to maintain the ATP designation for the term that ends July 31, 2010 must renew their application on or before July 31, 2009. If your renewal date falls after July 31, 2009, your certification will automatically be extended to July 31, 2010.
  • Partners that wish to submit a new application for the Cisco IOS-XR Routing Platforms ATP designation must be invited, and must complete and submit the application no later than July 31, 2009. When approved, the partner will hold the designation until July 31, 2010.

Cisco's portfolio of offerings continues to expand to meet a widening range of customer needs. Partners with a Cisco IOS XR Software practice are encouraged to deepen their expertise with Cisco specializations. Specializations are updated as needed to reflect our ongoing commitment to the most current technology training. Training in Cisco Lifecycle Services is required to help define the activities needed to successfully deploy and operate Cisco solutions, optimize technology performance, and reduce deployment risk. By taking this approach, partners can strengthen customer relationships and enhance profitability by implementing proven, repeatable processes specific to Cisco advanced technologies.
